IIAE which stands for Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering,which conducts this entrance examination for the students who want to become a pilot.At
undergraduate degree level,there are so many sreams in aircraft engineering.This entrance exam will be conducted in Delhi,Jammu and Guwahati only.Candidates who have passed this entrance test,they are eligible for final selection of personal interview.
Courses :- That IIAE entrance examination is conducted for students for following courses.
* Aeronautical Engineering
* Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
* B Tech
* Computer Science & Engineering
* Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
* Information Technology
Eligibility :-
* The age of candidate should not less than seventeen years to write this entrance examination.
* From recognized university/board,candidates have the certificate of higher secondary examination or its equivalent under secondary examination pattern.
* Aggregation of physics,chemistry,mathematics is greater than 50%.
* Final year students are also having the eligibility to write this test.
Exam pattern :-
* All questions are of objective type.Correct one answer from four options.
* All questions are asked from physics,mathematics and chemistry.
* Candidates must complete this test within three hours only.
* There is no negative marking in this test.
Syllabus :-
Physics:-
Questions asked from the topics of magnetic effects of current and magnetism, kinematics, current electricity, laws of motion, electrostatics, work, energy and power, properties of solids and liquids, rotational motion, gravitation.
Maths :-
Questions asked from the topics of integral calculus, limit, continuity and differentiability, sequences and series, binomial theorem and its simple
applications, permutations and combinations, matrices and determinants, complex numbers and quadratic equations, sets, relations and functions,Vector algebra, three dimensional geometry, co-ordinate geometry, differential equations.
Chemistry :-
Questions asked from chemistry are atomic structure, coordination chemistry and organo metallics, transition metals including lanthanides, chemistry in
action, chemistry of biological processes, biomolecules, polymers, chemistry of carbon compounds,elements, nuclear chemistry, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics,chemical thermodynamics, chemical bonds and molecules.
