GROUP 1 SUCCESS PLAN

New Year’s Resolutions are the health equivalent of pressing the refresh button on your life. No matter what you did, a new year means a new you. The process is as basic as it is motivating: Learn from the past and plan for a better future. It’s a safe and effective approach that allows you to reinvent
yourself, set new goals, and become the person you want to be.

Unfortunately, if success was that easy you wouldn’t be repeatedly setting the same goals year after year. (after year) You also know that you don’t have to
wait until January 1 to become who you want. But there’s comfort in knowing you’re not the only one who fell short of their goals. It’s why so many people
jump on the resolution bandwagon. But the timing doesn’t appear to solve the bigger issue: What separates the successful from the unsuccessful? And why do we start each year hoping for the best only to repeat the same failures?

The resolution solution really boils down to one simple factor, and making an adjustment to your approach could be the difference between achievement and failure.

The dirty little secret about resolutions isn’t some complex secret: Those who succeed are unwilling to quit. They want to taste success more than those who don’t.

We all have the desire to be better. In fact, that’s what motivates most people to set goals at the beginning of the year. But after working with thousands of people and hearing countless stories—both of successes and failures—the most common reason for success is the relentless drive to succeed.

This is not a blame-game or a lack of respect for whatever hurdles stand in your way. I’ve failed at plenty of my goals too.

This is a reality check that everyone needs to accept, yet few ever mention. Changing your body, losing weight, gaining muscle, quitting smoking—every goal you desire will be difficult to achieve. At some point, you’re going to hit a bump in the road, be confronted with a challenge, and begin to doubt your
ability to make real, lasting change.

When that happens, don’t ignore your frustration. That’s the first step towards failure. Instead, acknowledge your anger. Channel your frustration and ask
yourself one simple question: HOW BADLY DO I WANT THIS?

When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe that’s when you’ll achieve your goals.

This isn’t about six-pack dreams, running a marathon, or building bigger biceps. Those are all great goals that are achievable by anyone. I don’t care how far your journey might appear. I know you can make a change. And if you have any doubts, read the stories of those who are just like you. I’m inspired by these people because they do the impossible. And now it’s our job to eliminate doubt and apathy so that you can join in on the success.

HOW TO WRITE ESSAY IN BANK EXAMS

Nowadays in a few bank PO examinations essay writing is included(I.O.B. for instance). I am giving below a few points on as to how you can make an essay successful and rate very high. I am posting a few essays also separately. Blessings and best wishes ESSAY WRITING –IMPORTANT POINTS An essay is generally a written composition containing an expression of one’s personal opinions or ideas on a subject. A good essay must hold its readers’ attention from the beginning to the end. For this it must possess certain qualities, which make a piece of writing readable and enjoyable. Here are some of these qualities for you to keep in mind: First, a good essay shows its writer’s personality in the same way as good manners or pleasing behaviour does. So you have to learn how to write it and spend a lot of time to perfect your style in essay writing. If one wants to learn good manners, one must live with and learn from those who possess them. This is equally true of writing, essay writing in particular. One must study the best models and learn from them. And one must practice the art of writing with patience and great care.

Secondly, every essay depends on two things. These are (a) its subject matter, and (b) its language. To write an essay you require ‘material’—clear ideas based on experience, reading and observation. These ideas have to be put into words and these words must convey what the writer wishes to say. For this he should know the right words and the most appropriate ways to put them together. In other words, an essay calls for ideas that are based on your everyday life or experience or ideas that you have imagined. It next calls for a rich stock of words and of structures (the sentence of the language). Above all, it calls for the ability to put these thoughts and sentences together. To say that an essay writer must put his thoughts together is to point to another main quality of a good essay—its structure. Every essay has a structure. Article I. A) Part of An Essay An essay is generally divided into three parts: 1. The Introduction. 2. The Body. 3. The Conclusion. And each of these requires careful attention.Introduction Paragraph What is an introduction paragraph? The Introduction paragraph is the first paragraph of your essay.

HOW TO SAVE YOUR JOB IN RECESSION

In a troubled economy, job eliminations and hiring freezes seem almost routine, but when your own company’s woes start to make headlines, it all hits home.Intellectually, you understand that downsizing isn’t personal; it’s just a law of commerce, but your heart sinks at the prospect of losing your position. While you know that passivity is a mistake, it’s hard to be proactive when your boss’s door is always closed, new projects are put on hold, and your direct reports look to you for reassurance. Don’t panic. Even though layoff decisions may be beyond your control, there’s plenty you can do.

Preparing for the Worst: You May Still Need a Plan B.That’s what we have observed in numerous layoffs over the years and in research on how people respond to stressful work conditions. (Author Janet Banks over saw a dozen downsizings as a vice president in human resources at Chase Manhattan Bank and a managing director at FleetBoston Financial. Author Diane Coutu studied resilience during her time as an affiliate scholar at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.) We’ve seen that while luck plays an important  role, survival is most often the result of staring reality in the face and making concrete plans to shape the future. Machiavellian as it may seem, holding
on to your job when the economy softens is a matter of cool strategic planning. In our experience, however, even the savviest executives are ill-prepared to deal with job threats. Here’s what you can do to keep your career moving and minimize the chances that you’ll become a casualty.

Act Like a Survivor:

A popular partner in the Brussels office of McKinsey & Company mentored hosts of junior consultants. When asked for advice on getting ahead, he always gave the same reply: “If you want to be a partner, start acting like one.” The corollary of this advice is even more important: During a recession, you have to start acting like a survivor if you hope to escape the ax.
