The candidates who want to join in actuarial science course are required to qualify the ACET examination.ACET stands for Actuarial Common Entrance Test.This exam will be conducted twice in a year in the months of december and june.

Candidates who want to write this exam,must have passed 10+2 examination with english as one of the subjects.
Mode of exam :-
It is an online examination.This exam will be conducted in forty one cities within india at fifty one centers.Candidates will register for the exam by online payment only.
Structure of exam :-
All questions given in this exam are of objective type with one correct answer for each question.This exam is a computer based test.Candidates will complete this exam in two hours and candidates would be answer 55 questions of 100 marks.The questions format is given below.
* 1 mark questions - 25
* 2 mark questions - 25
* 5 mark questions - 5

Negative marking :-
There is negative marking for wrong answer.For each incorrect answer of 1 mark question,0.5 mark will be deducted.So for 2.5 marks will be deducted

Casio FX85 or Sharp EL531 or Texas Instruments BA II Plus or Texas Instruments TI-30 or Hewlett Packard HP12c.
